1. What Regain collects

  • Account details: if you sign in with Google or Apple, Regain receives your name, email address, and profile identifier. You may also use the guest flow.
  • Focus data: focus-session timing, duration, mode, tags, optional notes, planner blocks, and group memberships.
  • Blocked-app choices: Android package identifiers are stored locally. On iPhone, Apple provides opaque app, category, or website tokens; selected names and Screen Time history are not revealed to Regain.
  • Foreground package on Android: while an active focus session needs blocking, Regain locally checks the foreground package identifier against your selected blocked-app list.

2. What Regain does not collect

Regain does not read messages, screen content, keystrokes, browsing history, photos, files, or Screen Time activity history. The Android AccessibilityService does not retrieve window content and is used only for local productivity blocking during an active focus session.

3. How information is used

Information is used to provide and recover focus sessions, synchronize progress, show statistics, manage planner and group features, process subscriptions, and deliver reminders you choose to enable.

4. Storage and processors

Account and focus data are stored with Supabase and protected by row-level security. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat process purchases and entitlement status. Regain sends RevenueCat a stable app account identifier so PRO access can follow the account, but never receives full payment-card details.

5. Sharing

Regain shares information only with processors needed to operate the service: Supabase for authentication and storage, and RevenueCat plus the app stores for billing. Regain does not sell data, share it for advertising, enable optional RevenueCat attribution identifiers, or currently include third-party crash analytics.

6. Account deletion and rights

You can request deletion from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. The account is hidden immediately after backend acknowledgement and permanently purged after a 30-day grace period. See the deletion instructions. You may also request access to or a copy of your data through the support channel.

7. Children

Regain is intended for users aged 13 and over, or 16 where local law requires it. Regain does not knowingly collect data from children below the applicable age.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Access uses least-privilege client keys and row-level security. Android local files, preferences, databases, blocked-app choices, and recovery state are excluded from operating-system cloud backup and device-transfer extraction.

9. Changes

Material changes will be recorded on this page with a new effective date.
